Dead simple.

From posted to picked up in three steps.

Snap a photo

Take or drop a photo of what you're moving. We fill in the details — title, description, size — automatically.

Get bids

Independent drivers compete. Pick the best bid, or accept a buy-it-now price and skip the wait.

Track to delivery

We hold the payment in escrow. It only releases to the driver once you confirm the delivery.

Junk removal

Garage to gone, in a couple bids.

Clearing out a garage, an estate, a jobsite? Post the load with a photo. A transporter hauls it to the dump, transfer station, or donation center. One flat bid — no hourly clock, no per-item add-ons.

  • Old furniture & mattresses
  • Appliances & e-waste
  • Yard & construction debris
  • Estate cleanouts
  • Hot tubs, sheds, swing sets
  • Bulky stuff that won't fit in a sedan

One flat bid. No hourly clock.

Posting is free. You only pay if you accept a bid.

“I bid on the loads I want, on my schedule. Quick payouts for completed jobs.”

Built for real stuff.

Not abstract freight. Real things, real people, real bids.

Escrow-backed

Your card is charged when you accept a bid, but Stripe-backed escrow holds the funds until you confirm delivery.

You pick the bid

Transporters compete; you choose who moves your stuff and at what price — no auto-assigned drivers.

Verified transporters

Independent operators and small companies — every one cleared a background check and uploaded vehicle and insurance docs.

Wide range

Furniture, vehicles, boats, heavy equipment, freight, junk removal — ten categories, one marketplace.

Questions, answered.

The stuff we get asked most before someone posts their first shipment.

Post your shipment with photos, item details, and pickup and dropoff locations. Set an asking price, or set a buy-it-now price if you want to skip the wait. Transporters bid on it. You pick the one you want. Your payment is held in escrow until you confirm delivery. Then the funds release to the transporter.

Furniture, appliances, vehicles, motorcycles, boats, heavy equipment, electronics, fragile artwork, general freight, and junk-removal loads. If it fits on or in a vehicle, someone on Shiplyst can probably move it. We do not move hazardous materials, perishable goods that need refrigeration, live animals, or anything illegal.

Posting is free. When you accept a bid, you pay the bid amount plus a 10% Shiplyst service fee. So if a transporter quotes $200, you pay $220 at checkout. There are no other charges and no membership. We are also planning to roll out an optional item-protection plan you can add at checkout. It is in the works.

Yes. Your card is charged when you accept a bid, but the funds sit in Stripe-backed escrow, not in the transporter's account. We only release the money after you confirm delivery. Shiplyst never stores your card number. Payment details are held by Stripe, the same processor used by Amazon, Lyft, Shopify, and most major marketplaces.

Every transporter completes an application and uploads vehicle and insurance documents before we activate their account. They also go through a Checkr background check, which screens for criminal history and verifies identity. Once they are approved, their star rating, completed-delivery count, and category experience all show on every bid so you can see who you are picking.

Open a dispute from the shipment screen as soon as you notice an issue. Shiplyst freezes the escrow payment, which means the transporter does not get paid until the dispute is resolved. Insurance coverage varies by transporter, so for high-value items it is a good idea to ask about their coverage before accepting a bid. An optional Shiplyst-backed protection plan is coming soon.

Posting is free, so there is no risk if it sits a while. If you are not getting traction, lower the asking price, add a buy-it-now to attract drivers looking for a fast booking, or re-post with a longer pickup deadline. Better photos and clear pickup notes also help.

Yes. More than 48 hours before pickup you cancel free. Within 48 hours a 10% cancellation fee applies. Within 24 hours, 25%. Within 12 hours, 50%. Within 2 hours, 75%. The fee covers the transporter's reserved time and the loads they turned down to take yours.

Apply with your vehicle and insurance documents and pass the background check. Once approved, you can bid on loads in your area or along routes you are already driving. You set the price. The shipper picks you. After delivery is confirmed, escrow releases the funds and Stripe deposits to your bank on its standard payout schedule.
